If you’re dealing with thick ink layers, you need a UV spectrum that can actually punch through to the bottom. That’s where GaI comes in. It pumps out a much higher photon flux, which is a fancy way of saying it hits the ink harder. The result? You can crank up your line speed and still have the ink bone-dry by the time it hits the stack. No more tacky sheets. Plus, these things ignite almost instantly.
