The balancing act: Power vs. Heat
Here’s the thing about power density and spectral output: it’s all about the balance. Whether you’re using UVC to kill germs or UVA to set a deep adhesive, the wattage has to match your conveyor speed. It sounds simple, but it’s a trap. If you just crank up the power to speed up the line, you’ll likely fry your substrate or end up with “skinning.” That’s when the top looks dry, but the bottom is still a gooey mess. We help you find that sweet spot. We pair the lamp’s output with the right cooling fans so your parts stay within temp specs and actually cure all the way through.
Built for the real world
We don’t do flimsy. A custom UV lamp only works if it’s mounted perfectly. If it’s off by a fraction, you get “dark spots” on your product, and that’s a nightmare for QC. To stop that, we use high-purity quartz glass. It lets the UV light through without absorbing it internally. And we’re obsessive about the electrical side. In a loud, vibrating industrial shop, loose connections are the enemy. They cause arcing and kill your lamps early. We use heavy-duty connectors and ensure the interface can handle that initial startup surge without popping your breakers.
