The tube itself is built around a quartz envelope with a halogen fill. That combo keeps the filament steady, even at high temps, so the UV output stays consistent over time. An internal coating shapes the spectrum and shields the filament from burning out early. And the R7s connector? It’s a simple, straight-line, two-contact setup. Plug it in, wire it straight, and it drops right into compatible fixtures. This setup shines in places where you need to sterilize on the fly—labs, packaging lines, medical spots. It’s compact, but it delivers serious heat density. That also means your fixture and cooling have to be up to the task.
